Overview
The Cybersecurity Landscape course is the first in this path and serves as an introduction to the cybersecurity world for anyone who wants to begin or grow a career as a Security Analyst within a SOC. It includes important concepts that can be the foundation of a career in cybersecurity as well as activities to develop skills that we have seen in successful Cybersecurity Analysts.
This is an e-learning course that combines videos with activities and knowledge checks. A quiz is available at the end and is required to complete the course.

Prerequisites
It is recommended to have a basic understanding of common cyber technologies and concepts including:
- OSI Model
- Networking concepts and common security tools
- Common Operative Systems like Windows and Linux

At the end of this course you should be able to:

- Understand the cost and impact of security incidents
- Identify the security concepts surrounding information assurance
- Describe the key cybersecurity goals of confidentiality, integrity and availability
