Course Overview
In this practical, hands on focused course, attendees gain the skills they need to successfully install EdgeMarc and explore the functionality of EdgeView Service Control Center.
Who should attend
System engineers, consultants and integrators, including members of Ribbon Channel Partners working toward technical accreditation, responsible for the implementation, management and support of Ribbon EdgeMarc and EdgeView products.

- Basic networking knowledge
- Understanding the TCP/IP protocol suite
- Knowledge of VoIP standards such as SIP
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Understand the EdgeMarc solutions and Key features
- Complete the physical installation and perform configuration tasks associated with EdgeMarc
- Learn how EdgeView service control center WEB User Interface manages EdgeMarcs and associated nodes
- Learn how to manage the EdgeMarc Firmware, Patches and Upgrades as well as Licenses
- Learn how to maintain and troubleshoot the EdgeMarc devices
- Understand how traffic is shaped including CoS and ToS Marking
- Understand how to secure EdgeMarc using trusted hosts, restricting access to the management interface and more
- Learn about LAN and WAN functions, WAN Failover and how VoIP, SDWAN, Proxy ARP are implemented and managed
- Learn how to manage PoE switch ports
- Learn how to use Remote Management of the EdgeView
